On 11 May 2021, the Open call text as well as Legal forms - only in Czech (Annex No. 8 to the Guideline for applicants) were updated in connection with specification of the information of common-interest association of legal entities as eligible applicants. On 29 April 2021, the Guideline for applicants as well as Checklist for verifying compliance within the criteria of formal requirements and eligibility - only in Czech (Annex No. 3 to the Guideline for applicants) were updated in connection with specification of the information for applicants on the requirement to submit a valid certificate of professional competence in the open call JU1B. The updated text is highlighted in yellow colour.

The Ministry of Finance in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic, announces on 14 January 2021 the Open Call for proposals of projects to be funded from the Norway Grants 2014-2021 under the Programme CZ-Justice.

The Call objective is to reduce likelihood of relapse to drug use and potential associated criminal activities in incarcerated and subsequently released prisoners - drug users with cumulated risks and needs, via provision of continuous professional care by non-governmental, non-profit organizations. The Call supports the creation and realization of the Case Management programme focusing on client stabilization.

Allocation: 23 830 787 CZK (EUR 899 275).

Deadline for submission of applications: extended to 31 May 2021 (12:00 p.m.) fom former deadline 7 March 2021 (12.00 p.m.)

Deadline for submission of applications was extended to 31 May 2021 (12:00 p.m.). The deadline was extended due to adverse development of the epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic. In this context, the Programme Operator decided to extend the current Open Call deadline so that applicants have sufficient time to prepare application, meet the conditions set by the Call and establish possible partnerships with relevant stakeholders.

Programme area: Correctional Services and Pre-trial Detention

Applications can be submitted only electronically in the information system CEDR.
All important information about the Call, eligibility of applicants, partners and activities and evaluation of applications are included in the text of the Calls. For preparation of applications, the applicants shall use the Guideline for Applicants with its annexes including a Checklist for pre-check of project intention eligibility and readiness for submission of the application in the information system.  The text of the Call and the Guideline for Applicants together with Annexes are available for download bellow.

Seminar for Applicants
The seminar for applicants in the support area Correctional Services and Pre-trial Detention will be organized on 9 February 2021. The seminar for Applicants will be organized in an online form. The seminar will introduce the open call and conditions for submission for applicants. More information on the seminar will be continuously updated on the website www.norwaygrants.cz/justice.

On 16th February 2021, the text of the Guideline for applicants (JU1A, JU1B) was updated in order to specify the conditions for the submission of Annex No. 12a Declaration on Organization´s Activities (JU1A). The updated text is highlighted in the Guideline for applicants (JU1A, JU1B).

IS CEDR
Applications shall be submitted only electronically in the information system CEDR. Entering the IS CEDR is possible via banner CEDR at the homepage www.norwaygrants.cz or at www.norwaygrants.cz/cedr, where you can also download a Guide for entering and registration in the IS CEDR.

It is also possible to look for better clarity at a video-guide that shall help with filling the information in the application in the IS CEDR (originally developed for Culture Programme).
