The Ministry of Finance in cooperation with the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic announces on 11 March 2021 Call for proposals for projects focusing on Roma Inclusion and Empowerment (HROVA2 – The creation of motivational leisure time programmes and extracurricular activities for Roma children).

The aim of the Call is to support the inclusion and empowerment of Roma in Czech society. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to develop appropriate measures that will strengthen inclusion of Roma children in the mainstream education process and prevent early school leaving of Roma children.

The Call will support projects that will provide motivational leisure time programmes and extracurricular activities for Roma children in particular to bridge the sensitive period of pupils' transition from pre-school to primary education and subsequently from primary to secondary education.

Allocation: HROVA2 – 46,475,541 CZK / 1,753,794 EUR
Deadline for submission of applications: 20. 5. 2021 (12:00 p.m.)

Applications can be submitted only electronically in the information system CEDR.

For preparation of applications, the applicants shall use the Guideline for Applicants and its annexes including the Checklist to verify the project eligibility and readiness for submission of the application in the information system.

Seminar for Applicants

The seminar for applicants will be organized in an online form. The date of the event will be confirmed in the upcoming weeks. The seminar will introduce the Open Call and conditions for submission for applicants. More information will be updated on the website www.norwaygrants.cz/humanrights.

IS CEDR

Applications shall be submitted only electronically in the information system CEDR. Entering the IS CEDR is possible via banner CEDR at the homepage www.norwaygrants.cz or at www.norwaygrants.cz/cedr, where you can also download a Guide for entering and registration in the IS CEDR. A video-guide in Czech language that indicates how to fill the application in the IS CEDR (originally developed for Culture Programme) is available here.
