The Ministry of Finance - National Focal Point for EEA and Norway Grants in the Czech Republic organized a Conference on the Progress in Implementation of EEA and Norway Grants 2009 - 2014 in the Czech Republic. Conference was held in Profesní dům, Malostranské náměstí in Prague on Tuesday 4 October 2016.

The Conference was attended by representatives of all relevant institutions and organizations that are involved in the implementation of EEA and Norway grants in the Czech Republic. Representatives of donors were led by Her Excellency Ms. Siri Ellen Sletner. Conference was also attended by the representatives of the Financial Mechanism Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway and representatives of almost all the programme partners, including the Council of Europe.

The purpose of the conference was to inform all stakeholders about the progress in implementation of the EEA and Norway grants in the current period, to review the results and to share experiences with the implementation phase. In this regard, it was very beneficial to receive the feedback from the donor programme partners, programme partners at national level and of course from the project promoters.

The event also included a presentations of selected projects and even an on-site visit of one of them, namely the Rescue of “Rotunda St. Wenceslas” that is located just in the premises of the Conference in Profesni dům. This project of its rennovation was awared within the Programme supporting Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Arts (Programme CZ06).
